When I got to the part where I needed to transfer my pics from my Flickr Account to my Blog, I ran into numerous snags. It wasn't as straight forward as I had hoped and I can't tell you all the different things I tried until I got it right. It wasn't working the 'normal' way as directed on Flikr's Help Menu. Not sure if I ever found Flickr's Blogging Tool? I suppose the enlightened thing would have been to access it through the link on CSLA's website. I started to get confused with all my passwords, usernames and ID's etc., to all the different accounts I now have. I actually spent over two hours trying to figure this out. I was determined to get it right, but I had to run to work at the library. Good thing, I needed to have a fresh mind before I attempted again. I even took my laptop with me thinking; I might ask another librarian. But, I got busy and wanted to prove to myself that I could complete this task. After I got home and reviewed more Help options, I noticed that little envelope icon and VOILA! It was really that simple. This time, reading the directions was a waiste of time. I've used these icons before, what was I thinking? Maybe, I was thinking too much and not looking. . . .
I could have simply uploaded these pics from my desktop (and cheated a lil'), but I wanted to do it using my Flickr and Blog accounts--together. I wanted to be successful using these new tools. Mission Accomplished. :)
